JSO
The School of Journalism encourages students to become involved in academic life and to develop their professional interests through student organizations. The Journalism Student Organization is one way journalism students can do that. The JSO is comprised of student officers and a faculty advisor. Over the years they have sponsored workshops, guest speakers and job shadowing. Students may also join professional chapters of the Society for Professional Journalists.
